About Us

Stroud Community Space is a new CIC set up in late 2024 to help create vibrant community learning spaces in Stroud. Brought together by a committed team of 5 community minded folks we’re here to support the amazing groups and projects who are already doing great work but for who access to a regular space would make a world of difference. To explain more here is our Vision and Mission:

Our Vision

Our vision is a resilient Stroud where communities and our youth thrive. We build local power to address climate change, economic hardship, and mental health. By creating accessible spaces for education and collaboration, we support initiatives to flourish. Together, we foster creativity, resilience, and a stronger, more connected community.

Our Mission

Stroud Community Spaces supports small groups by offering affordable, welcoming venues essential for creativity, connection, and learning. As a Community Interest Company, we champion sustainability, inclusivity, and collaboration. By nurturing vibrant spaces, we strengthen Stroud’s cultural fabric, creating opportunities for everyone, especially our young people, to engage, grow, and thrive together.
